Airsoft Stag Parties in the UK and Ireland Testimonials

When my mate asked me if I would be the best man for his wedding, I said yes straight away. Of course, I said yes because he’s my best mate- but most importantly, I get to make a speech at his wedding reception roasting him, whilst I also got to arrange his stag night. It is impossible to have a good wedding if you haven’t had a good stag night before it, so I had a tough task ahead of me; what good is a wedding if you can’t enjoy your final night of freedom before it?

We weren’t going to go on a mental dirty weekend like some of the lads suggested, although things would be getting messy on the evening! As for the daytime entertainment, I needed to choose something that the whole squad would enjoy, but I needed to avoid all the usual stag party clichés. I needed to create a memorable experience and there’s nothing memorable about going paintballing, like most stags do. I needed an awesome group activity that none of the team had taken part in before.

Whilst searching online for fun stag activities, I found the Airsoft Combat website. I’d heard of airsoft before but I’d never thought about taking part in it. Reading about it further and looking at some clips online made me realise this was the perfect way to start the weekend. It was exhilarating, action packed and would certainly get us all woken up and ready for the mayhem we’d be causing when we were let loose on the town afterwards! After talking to the lads, we agreed it would be a brilliant idea, so I booked it straight away.

On the day of the stag, we couldn’t wait to shoot each other and live out our action hero fantasies. We even created a forfeit for the weakest player, which would come in really handy when we went on the night out. When we got to the site, we found out we were going to be facing off against another stag group, so there was plenty of laughs and lots of banter. The staff were incredibly helpful in getting us into the swing of the game- we were champion gun slingers in no time.

We had a great time playing airsoft and it certainly won’t be the last time we are here for a game. I wasn’t expecting to have so much fun playing airsoft, but the whole squad are eager to return for round two!
